Giuliana & Bill ~ The struggle continue.. 2nd IVF

Due to my busy schedule to get rid of the extra kilos plus my office works,
I've missed to watch most of the episode of my favorite reality show ~ Giuliana & Bill. 


I was on medical leave on Tuesday, last week due to urinary tract infection.. 
(huhuhu...it was a pretty bad one).
And it was so happen, when i tuned to E! channel, they played a 
marathon episodes of the new season of ~ Giuliana & Bill..yeayy.. 
So managed to catched up with all episodes that i have missed including their second attempt for IVf  (the injections and the egg retrieval)
And i was quite surprised that it will show the season finale of Giuliana & Bill
tomorrow (Wednesday).. 
Oooh.. i should not missed this important episode..
Erm.. then i remembered that me and my hubby has a planned to watch the 
finale of the Suzuki AFF football cup between Malaysia vs Indonesia with my 
hubby's officemate at one of the mamak's restaurant at Putrajaya.. 
Oohh.. now i'm in doubt.. need to choose between the two finale. 
the football match starts from 8pm-10pm.. and the Giuliana & Bill starts at 
10.20pm.. errm,, meaning.. i have like 20 minutes to rush back to home after the 
football match.. hope that the plan work work

Sharp at 8 pm.. we managed to secure a seat at the mamak's restaurant. It was quite 
hard for us to get the seat for 4 since the restaurant was already full when we reached there. 
Eventhough i don't really like to watch football or even understand 
how football is played, but I really enjoyed the football match between 
Malaysia and Indonesia... the Malaysia team really showed a very good game and 
Kudos to all of them for winning game ;P.
As planned, right after the match over, we rushed back to our house.. 
When we reached our house..we were like 5 minutes late. The Giuliana & Bill already started. Well it's better then missing the whole final episode ..right ;P


After their miscarriage, Giuliana & Bill keep on their journey for 2nd attempt of IVF. 
Unlike their first IVF, this time they managed to get 15 eggs from the egg retrieval process. 
However, unluckily Giuliana suffered from the Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS) after the egg retrieval. The OHSS was quite a bad one.. few liter of fluid was sucked out of her abdomen
( Luckily i dont suffered from the OHSS eventhough i got 15 eggs..pheww. 
but the pain after the egg retrieval, was so painful and indescribable)


Due to this OHSS.. the embryo transfer process was postponed to the next cycle.
During the embryo transfer process, Giuliana parents and Bill's mum accompany them 
to the clinics to give their support. The process was successfully done. 
After 2 weeks, the blood result was finally out. Sadly, this time the result was negative. 
The moment when Giuliana was told by her doctor, Dr Kaplan via phone call 
that the result was negative, i can see such a deep dissappoinment and heartbroken 
from her eyes.
(Emm... it reminded me of the moment i received the call from my nurse to tell me 
that my result is negative..sigh)  
After all the pain that she suffered, I believed that she were very confident that the 
result was positive.. just like her previous IVF. 
Not sure whether they have reserved embryos to be frozen, i can't recall it was mention 
anywhere is the episode....hopefully they have the frozen embryo 
and would be able to do the Frozen Embryo Transfer later.
At the end of the show, really like the word of encouragement from Bill to Giuliana.. 
"At the end everything will be alright.. if it is not alright.. it's not the end" ;P
